It has a gel type consistency and foams up nicely. You don't need much. I use about half a pump. I've been using it morning and night. It cleanses without leaving my skin feeling tight and dry.

This serum is lightweight, fast absorbing, and really helped with hydration and oil control. I use it in the mornings only but can be used in the am, pm, or both. I’ve learned the hard way that higher percentages aren’t always better. My skin actually darkened and my barrier was damaged when I overdid it with stronger formulas.
